Karen E Overton is now a Certified Instructor with Square in A Square, a technique developed by Jodi Barrows that makes patchwork Fast, Fun, Fabulous and Finished ~ never cut or sew another triangle again!

Take a basic square, sew on strips and use the technique ruler to trim to different "options" to achieve different units.There are over 38 options used to create almost any quilt block. Basic knowledge of rotary cutting and sewing a quarter inch seam are the only prerequisites.



Classes are available at the Quilts 'N Kaboodle studio, area quilt shops, or can be arranged for your group or quilt guild. Karen is available for lectures and truck shows as well as workshops. Please email karen@quiltsnkaboodle for more information.

 This little beauty whipped up in less than 4 hours with no triangles cut! You will learn strip piecing, chain sewing, pressing and the basic square sewing of the Square in a Square system. Join me for a fun one day class and get a jump start on your Christmas and use some of those Christmas prints you've been collecting!! Class size is limited to 6 - email your RSVP soon! Class requires the original SnS technique ruler and Advancing On II pattern book. Supplies available through Quilts 'N Kaboodle. Background fabric also available for purchase if desired. Just look at the points on this quilt ~ all without cutting or sewing a triangle! Learn the basics of the SNS technique with the most commonly used options, Option 1 and Option 3. Class requires the original Square in a Square Technique ruler and the Square in a Square Book 1.
