Professional Quilters use a variety of methods for their pricing ~ by the hour, by the amount of thread used, rates based on square inch, square foot, or square yard ~ so if you are price comparing this may be as difficult as comparing apples to oranges.
While pricing is a consideration, so is reputation, experience, and style. Continuing Education is very important to me as I take every opportunity available to sit under the teaching of national award winning longarm quilters as well as subscribe to numerous trade magazines to continue to seek a fresh approach in my personal development as a longarm quilter. I am a member of the International Machine Quilters Association, and founder of the Bayshore Longarm Quilters, Island Quilter's Guild, Mainland Morning Guild, Lakeview Quilter's Guild, and Bay Area Quilt Guild. I also teach piecing classes in local quilt shops as well as my studio.
Nothing thrills me more than assisting a quilter finish her top so it can be used as intended. This is my joy ~ that and enjoying the beautiful variety of quilts that grace my frame ~ it's like a private quilt show every day in my studio!
I am here to serve you. Your top will be treated as if it were my own. As a piecer and a quilter I know the time and love you have put into your creation, rest assured that your quilt will receive the same reverence while in my care. My studio is smoke free and every effort is taken to assure the integrity of your precious heirloom.
As you consider Quilts 'N Kaboodle for your longarm quilting service provider please take time to view the tips concerning borders, backing and batting as well as look through our photo gallery for a sampling of current customer quilts.
