As authorized A1 dealers, we at Quilts ‘N Kaboodle believe that our customers deserve more than a "drop and run" set up. We are committed to spending an entire day at your studio setting up and training you on the use and care of your A1 Quilting Machine – this is a free service!
We will assemble your machine with the same care as if it were our own, making sure that everything is set up just the way we like it – as professional quilters, we understand the 
need to have a dependable machine. Whether you will be quilting for hire or “just for me” your machine will be up and running at the conclusion of our day together.

Whether you will be quilting for hire or “just for me” your machine will be up and running at the conclusion of our day together.In addition, we will instruct you on all the features of your A1 – from understanding the stitch regulator to the operation of the Tensionology (if purchased) and everything in between. We will reference items in your owner’s manual so you are familiar with all the capabilities of your new machine. We will instruct you on basic maintenance to keep your A1 running like new.

overed the machine parts we will go over the operation of the machine to get you started quilting – from how to properly load a quilt on the frame, how to adjust tension, using a laser light and a designer pantograph, how to advance the quilt and then remove the quilt once completed, as well as sharing simple freehand fills that you can practice. Plus we’ll share with you some of our tips from our 8 years quilting experience and link you to favorite quilting supplies/suppliers, discuss the benefit of joining online forums for support (including the Bayshore Longarm Quilters, the local guild we founded which meets quarterly in our studio) as well as recommended books and DVD’s for your continued learning. Lots of shared information!

We recognize the learning curve and understand there will be questions concerning things we may have covered in your set up and the occasional troubleshooting. Never hesitate to ask a question, we are here to serve you. If there’s an issue we can’t handle we will assist you in finding the help through the A1 tech support and dealer network. It is our desire that you be happily quilting on your A1 and we will strive our best to assure you of this.
Annually Quilts ‘N Kaboodle has a ‘reunion’ for our A1 customers. This several day event includes a refresher course on maintenance as well as continuing education on topics of interest from thread choices to ideas for running your business. Plus actual hands on design classes! This event is free to you, our valued A1 family member.
