Look For This Quilt At 2011 Houston International Quilt Festival
In 2007 Mainland Morning Quilt Guild from Texas City Texas entered "Happy Trails" into the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's annual quilt show. It won a first place ribbon AND Best of Division. Designed & Pieced by Peggy Mote, Ruth Marquez-Silliman, and Pat Wright, machine quilted by Karen E Overton. The quilt is owned by Pat Wright.
In 2011 The quilt was accepted to be included in the upcoming publication of "Lone Star Quilts Vol III, A Legacy of Texas Quilts, 1986-2011" and will be displayed along with other quilts from the book in a special Texas Exhibit during the 2011 Houston International Quilt Festival Nov 2-6.
